Job Description

Description of the role: The Maintenance Technician at Best Western Hotel in Aberdeen, SD will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance and repairs of the hotel facilities to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests. Responsibilities:

Performing routine maintenance tasks such as HVAC system checks, electrical repairs, and plumbing maintenance
Responding promptly to guest requests and addressing maintenance issues efficiently
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Assisting with renovations and construction projects as needed
Must have the ability to learn minor repairs needed to guest rooms and other areas of the hotel.
Minor electrical and plumbing repairs, furniture and fixture repairs, and mudding and painting drywall.
Will also be testing and cleaning the pool and pool area.
Must be able to lift 75lbs. 40 hours a week. Weekends a must.

Requirements:

Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
