For Each 1 Reach 1 Mentoring Program in Brooksville, FL 34613 is looking for tutors to join our team and can tutor at all levels including high school and can work right after the school hours 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm. We are located at 7318 Sunshine Grove Road. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and reliable. There is flexibility in the schedule.

Responsibilities

• The tutor should give at least 24 hours' notice if unable to keep an appointment by calling the office. If there is no answer at the office please call our Education Coordinator and also provide a schedule of your availability.
• Help students develop positive attitudes toward learning through the use of interactive and hands-on approaches to teachings, such as games and experimentation.
• Conduct lessons that cultivate students to be critical thinkers and provide a learning atmosphere that stimulates student creativity and document all lessons covered at each session and file the documentation in the youth file folder.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in the area tutoring.
• The tutor should pay to have a National Background Check conducted prior to the start of tutoring. Once you reach the (6) month period, the program will reimburse your cost for the background check.
• Maintain confidentiality of student's personal information, model a professional code of ethics to all students and staff, keep students focused and interested on task, be patient with students, keep detailed and precise documentation, work effectively with people of diverse socio-economic backgrounds, provide objective student progress reports, communicate with program team and be computer literate.
