Job Description
Description We are looking for a motivated entry-level Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team in Commerce, California. As part of a leather manufacturing company, you will play a key role in supporting procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management, to ensure seamless operations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to maintain timely delivery of materials and products.
- Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and address shortages or surpluses to optimize stock management.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Track shipments and delivery schedules to verify compliance with timelines and resolve any issues.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency and reducing costs.
- Support the evaluation of purchasing processes and vendor performance to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Utilize relevant software systems, such as ERP and CRM tools, for effective coordination and reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of supply chain activities, ensuring compliance with established protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to improve communication and ensure alignment across all stages of the supply chain. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in using software tools such as ERP systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Word.
- Exceptional analytical skills to evaluate data, forecast trends, and make informed decisions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across teams and with suppliers.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage inventory accurately and track shipments effectively.
- Adept at multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new supply chain systems and applications.
- Familiarity with accounting functions, accounts payable processes, and budget management is a plus. TalentMatch®
