Professional Safety Solutions, LLC is hiring an experienced Safety Manager for a general construction project. Local candidates only!
Our Expectations:
Health and Safety Professionals at ProSafe serve in a dual role: where the initial objective is to operate in a consultative capacity by providing expert support, guidance, and motivation to operations management and employees at all levels. In addition, along with management, the Health and Safety Professionals at ProSafe are expected to be a hands-on partner in delivering various safety initiatives and programs specifically to develop an excellent safety culture.
Responsibilities:
· Implements, promotes, and maintains Contractor Site Safety Plan
· Conducts safety inductions for all Contractor and Subcontracted Site Staff
· Coordinates and assures that all Contractor and Subcontracted staff is inducted in customers safety plan
· Executes daily and weekly safety inspections, reports and corrects findings
· Checks and assures that Vanderlande subcontractors have all required permits to work, assist subcontractors in obtaining these.
· Assures that daily toolbox talks are executed, signed by workers and filed.
· Organizes and executes weekly safety discussion for Contractor Site Team.
· Collects worked hours Contractor (Vanderlande) and subcontracted staff and generate monthly reports,
· Investigates and reports any incidents by Contractor and subcontracted staff.
· Assists in generating Job Hazard Analyzes (JHA) and Work Method Statements (WMS).
· Participates in Customer Safety Meetings and is actively involved in the execution safety program.
· Manages drug and alcohol program on site (if applicable)
Minimum Qualifications (must meet one of the following):
· Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety and at least three (3) years of safety experience.
· Option 2:
A board-certified safety credential from a nationally recognized organization (e.g., CSP, CIH, ASP, CHST ) and at least five (5) years of full-time construction safety management experience.
· Option 3:
A current OSHA 500 certification and at least six (6) years of full-time construction safety management experience.
Additional Qualifications:
· Local to Loveland, CO
Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines
· OSHA 10 and 30-hour certification
· Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies
· Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
· Excellent organizational and motivational skills
· Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
· Demonstrated ability to identify known potential exposures and lead the implementation of corrective actions
· Demonstrated computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite programs
· Demonstrated management, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing and train others
· High School Diploma, Technical degree preferred
