Join the team that understands that caring for the pets we love starts with greater care for our veterinary team members.   **What You'll Do:** + Responsible for supporting the paraprofessional staff in implementing the outlined policies and procedures, utilizing integrated technology, and managing the practice operational functions. + Work with regional and corporate leadership to provide support and continuous development for the practice team. + Provide staff management with a primary responsibility of overseeing their operational performance and coordinate work schedules for the team. + Demonstrate team support and care for others' work experiences by conducting staff reviews, handling their concerns, and mentoring Team Members with their career development. + Lead team coordination of inventory cycle counts and fulfill inventory needs requests. + Engage with clients to ensure they receive the ultimate treatment and resolve conflicts or complaints. + Ensure the equipment and clinic are well maintained, and OSHA guidelines are followed. + Guide team with following the practice's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standards of Care (SOC); review SOPs and practice metrics to help improving their performance. + Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients and Team Members. + Be a PIMS administrative super-user and provide assistance to others on the team in their use of the technology.  + Act responsibly giving the pharmacy holdings of the practice. + Participation in self-development courses and Chewy Vet Care required compliance training. + Perform related duties and assignments by management. + Oversee operating, safety, and compliance procedures as required by applicable law and Chewy Vet Care processes and policies. + Position may require some travel.  **What You'll Need:** + Successful completion of the CVPM program and current certification is preferred. + Ability to meet the qualifications for the CVPM designation. + 3+ years of experience as a Practice Manager in practice + 2 years of supervised experience with veterinary radiation machines preferred + Experience mentoring and leading others. + Ability to connect with clients and demonstrate empathy and compassion. + Ability to manage conflict resolution. + Excellent verbal / written communication, observational, and analytical skills + Thrive in a fast paced, self-starter environment. **Physical Job Requirements:** ** ** + Standing or walking up to 80% per shift. + Frequently lift up 50 to 70 pounds using an optional team lift. + Occasionally lift greater than 70+ pounds using a team lift. + Stand, push, pull, carry, squat, and kneel. **Chewy is an equal opportunity employer.
