Job Description

Description We are looking for an Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Irvine, California. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth and skill development within a dynamic accounting environment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and utilizing tools like Microsoft Excel and Sage Intacct. Responsibilities: - Process and manage accounts payable transactions with accuracy and timeliness. - Handle light accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and payment tracking. - Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate. - Create and analyze pivot tables and formulas in Microsoft Excel to support financial reporting. - Post accounting entries and reconcile accounts to maintain the integrity of financial data. - Utilize Sage Intacct software to perform accounting tasks and generate reports. - Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting documentation. - Identify discrepancies in financial records and recommend corrective actions. - Collaborate with team members to improve accounting workflows and processes. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance with a strong focus on detail. - Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. - Strong skills in bank and account reconciliations. - Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas. - Familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar accounting software. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
