Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to support critical HR functions, including scheduling, employee records management, and assisting with recruitment efforts. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the team, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in all tasks. Responsibilities: - Organize and maintain confidential employee personnel files with precision and discretion. - Coordinate scheduling and provide administrative support for recruitment activities. - Assist in the management and auditing of HR systems, including ADP Workforce Now and other HRMS platforms. - Conduct background checks and ensure compliance with company policies. - Support benefits administration and related tasks, ensuring employee needs are met. - Collaborate with team members during in-person meetings on a bi-weekly basis. - Deliver exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders and employees. - Provide support for auditing processes to ensure data accuracy and compliance. - Manage and update applicant tracking systems to streamline recruitment workflows. - Assist with the implementation and maintenance of HR policies and procedures. Requirements - Proven experience with HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, or similar platforms. - Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage confidential information effectively. - Knowledge of benefits administration and related HR functions. - Experience conducting background checks and auditing HR processes. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team. - Availability to attend in-person team meetings in Los Angeles on a bi-weekly basis.
