Job Description

Senior Community Services is hiring compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy people to clean homes for adults age 60 and older. Regular housecleaning helps seniors have pride in their homes and stay physically healthy. 

DUTIES :

• Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, sweeping
• Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, including dishwashing
• Laundry and changing bed linens
• Possibly do grocery shopping or run simple errands

BENEFITS :

• Earn $19 per hour
• Get paid for mileage driven between participants’ homes in your own vehicle in a single day
• Build your own schedule
• We’ll help you get started with participants
• You set regular hours with them moving forward

REQUIREMENTS :

• At least 18 years old
• Must be physically able to do the work (lift 20+ pounds, bend, stretch, etc.)
• Have reliable transportation (personal or public)
• Able to consent to and pass a criminal background check
• Able to complete required paperwork for time tracking and work completed
• Able to effectively communicate with participants and SCS staff in person or by phone
• Able to communicate via email
