SUMMARY

Provide exceptional customer service while assisting lodging guests with check-in, check-out, and inquiries. Process payments and provide resort and area information. Check lodging guests in and out.Answer phones and direct calls appropriately and answer guest inquiries.Take payments from guests and explain billing details.Provide customer service, resolve guest issues, or escalate concerns to the Lodging Manager.Cross-sell other resort products.Process sales for lift tickets and sundry items.Provide resort and area information to visiting guests.Working holidays and weekends as required.Job sharing and flexibility are required.Complete all other assigned duties, including verifying reservations, light cleaning, running reports, and assisting with other projects as time permits.

RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY

Protect the safety of self-workers, and Grand Targhee Resort guests.Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures.Operate equipment safely so that it will not lead to injury to yourself or others.Drive in accordance with the law and Grand Targhee Resort policies.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities with staff.

WORK SCHEDULE & COMMITMENT

Due to the nature of the recreation industry, we are in operation seven days a week. This includes weekends and holidays and there is no guarantee of hours. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED preferred.Previous guest service experience preferred.Experience working with computers, including sales databases, Word, and Excel.Proven problem-solving skills.
