About the Role:

As our Billing and Payroll Specialist, you’ll help ensure the smooth operation of our financial and administrative systems. Your work will directly support our caregivers and help maintain high-quality care for our clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, thrives on accuracy, and wants to make a meaningful impact.

Sunday - Tuesday holds the heaviest part of the workload to ensure timely submission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll accurately and on time for our caregiving staff
  • Prepare and submit client and payor billing reports
  • Audit and reconcile timesheets, addressing any discrepancies
  • Maintain organized and accurate billing and payroll records
  • Communicate with caregivers and clients to verify time and billing information
  • Ensure compliance with all wage, hour, and confidentiality regulations
  • Provide general administrative support

What You Bring:

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Prior experience with payroll and/or billing systems (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and stay focused in a fast-paced setting
  • Professional communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting or scheduling software
  • Experience in home care or healthcare is a plus, but not required

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or higher preferred)
  • Must pass a 40-year background check and drug screening (APS and CPS checks included)
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work scheduled overnight hours
  • Comfortable working independently in an office environment
